DM Plant
Demineralization or Deionisation is the process of removing minerals salts from water by using the ion exchange process. With most natural sources it is possible to use Demineralisation and produce water of a higher quality than conventional They are used for various industrial purposes. It provides almost distilled quality water by ion exchange process.
Mixed Bed Plant

Filteration
Depending upon the type of Filtering Media used and the impurities being eliminated, the Filtration Plants can be broadly categorized as follows.
Pressure Sand filter (PSF):
It is used for separating water suspended solid. For better operation of filter, suspended soild should be coagulated. The advantages of pressure filter are high speed of filtration, less space, low prevent heat loss after heat loss after the warm or hot lime process.
Activated carbon filter (ACF):
Carbon filters are most effective at removing chlorine, sediment, and volatile organic aompunds ( VOCs) from water.
Dual Media Filter (DMF) :
This comprises off sand and anthracite as filtering media and polishing media respectively. Sand is used for removing the suspended particles and anthracite removes the odor and colour etc to make the water fit for various application. Pebbles and gravels are provided to support to both the media.
Disc Filter :
Disk filters are good removing both particulates, like sand, and organic matter. A disk filter consists of a stack round, grooved disks. Each disk has grooves in both sides. The water is forced between the grooved disks, and the organic matters or sediments are accumulate on the outer face of the stacks discs allowing clean water to flow through the stacks disc out of the filter.
Micron cartridge Filter (MCF):
Size of cartridge : 10” , 20”, 30”, 40” [Dia – 2.25” & 4.50”]
Types of cartridge :
1. Spun Cartridge : 0.5, 1.5, 10, 25 Micron
2. Wound Cartridge : 0.5, 1.5, 10,25 Micron.

Water Softner
Types of water softner
Water Softener module is a water softening unit which works on the principle of Ion Exchange Process in which the hardness causing ions such as Calcium and magnesium are exchanged with sodium ions.
The softening resin is regenerated with the brine solution and this can be done either automatically or manually by a multi port valve.
